This is one of the most common binders used in treatment. It was the first one I ever used and it definitely helped me. I still use it occasionally. It is not meant to be used as a long term binder as I was taught it can interfere with vitamin and mineral absorption. I did use it very often in the first 2 years of treatment. I was taught I could take it alongside my other binders but always taken 2 hours AWAY from medication and supplements. I still take it occasionally as needed.

It can be constipating but you can counteract that by adding in different options as well as choosing coconut activated charcoal, known to be a less constipating form.
You can reduce the chance your binders will work on beneficial nutrients by taking them on an empty stomach. All binders should be taken at the same time and either one hour before or two hours after medications and supplements."
